My best friend recently severed three tendons in his right hand in an accident and lost his job. He's ineligible for unemployment or disability, expects a 4-6 month recovery period during which he will be out of work and he's up to his eyeballs in debt. So there are these two kids (twins, supposedly, brothers at least) that frequent my shop. One of them is taller, blond, more outgoing. The one that comes by more often (sometimes ditching choir and other extra-curriculars) is shorter, skinny as a rake and brunette. And smart, so fucking smart. And obnoxious as the day is long.

I just realized Thor and Loki buy comics from me.

Before I get into discussing my problem, here's what I'm working with: the latest version of Firefox on a wireless connection, though I've tested and this is happening with Safari and Chrome as well. I've emptied the cashe/cookies, updated Java, and did a lot of fruitless research.

Is anyone else having problems with dA loading properly? For a few months now it seems like random chance that it'll actually load the full site and all images. Often I'm getting a white background with images and links stacked along the left side of the screen with some floating text. Sometimes the lower part of the screen loads (though key parts still seem to be missing) while the top bar (home button, messages, etc.) looks like a Craigslist ad. Also, I'm experiencing a problem where the deviations themselves either will only load bit by bit (and that's if I'm persistent with the refresh button) or won't even appear altogether. A couple of times (read: a lot) I've had a grey rectangle appear where the image should be, then disappear. I was going to take a screen shot of what's happening but for the sake of irony DeviantArt decided to cooperate again. I fully expect it to be broken later. Anyone have any idea what's happening?

I'M BROKE. Okay, I'm not broke, but I'm about to run off to the bank to pay my bills and then I'll be broke. Does anyone wanna commission me to draw? Sketches, line art, icons, whatever. Seriously. We could negotiate pricing and everything. I really need some extra skrilla. My rent just went up and I need to be able to manage my next phone bill and a cat deposit without borrowing money from the parents. I REALLY DON'T WANNA DO THAT.
